LEED is "an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts."

CityFlats Grand Rapids' pending LEED Gold Certification allows you to satisfy your eco-conscience without offending your sense of style. The hotel was designed and manufactured with artfully selected green materials, technologies, and practices to reduce negative impacts on the environment. Over 30% of the materials used to construct the hotel were acquired from local sources and a majority of all seating and décor items were manufactured in Holland, Michigan—a mere 30 miles away.

Guest rooms at CityFlatsHotel Grand Rapids are filled with unique and luxurious décor items and contain a number of environmentally-friendly features including:
